October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a topic that is important to me personally and a prime reminder of what our mission is all about: keeping patients at the core of what we do. I’ve been in this field for over 20 years, and I can tell you, as much as our technology and workflows have changed, the one thing that hasn’t is that patients come first, always.
For vendors like Merge, that means always listening to what you need to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care. You tell us you need cutting-edge tools that speed up and streamline your workflows, make it possible to do more with fewer clicks, and we make it happen.
Our recent User Conference is a great example of our collective investment in this sort of feedback. I found sharing best practices and prioritizing new features with customers to be exceptionally valuable.
Our vision is simple: creating solutions that put patients front and center. Let’s make it easy for you to make fast, accurate decisions. And let’s always keep the door open for your feedback, because you're the experts in patient care.
We have a webinar this week where we’ll be exploring this vision in practical detail through the prism of breast imaging workflows – I’d love to see you there. And make sure to catch us at RSNA in Chicago this November. We'd love to hear your thoughts on how we can continue making this vision a reality.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, please join Merge on October 19th at 2:00 PM EST for a conversation between thought leaders, led by Julie Pekarek, on our industry’s aim to provide better patient outcomes and user experiences in mammography. Don't miss this chance to hear from our experts on the development and deployment of breast imaging solutions driven by the needs of our patients.
We welcome you to join us on November 1st at 12 PM EST to hear from Bill Kazee, Senior Innovation Executive, and Marwan Sati, VP of Innovation. Part-presentation, part-demo, they will share what they have learned working with imaging organizations for more than 30 years and how to reimagine your imaging environments through leveraging AI and cloud.
Merge Cardio has been busy enhancing our software and bringing “Best in KLAS” innovations to market. Our Merge User Conference, and all our onsite and virtual meetings, have been opportunities to listen to your feedback and incorporate it into our product releases.
Most recently, we released Merge Cardio 12.3.3 on October 2, 2023. This targeted release significantly improved system notification processing in conjunction with Merge VNA 14.3.2. This release was motivated by direct customer feedback and insight.
At our recent User Conference last month in Austin, we had the opportunity to gather with customers and share Merge’s perspective on trends in cardiology, our product roadmap, and best practices when utilizing key tools in Merge Cardio. We look forward to continuing these engaging conversations year-round and collaborating with our customers on optimizing Merge Cardio.
Please join us at RSNA 2023 to provide feedback on our latest development in Cardio. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Back in June, we announced our revitalized approach to our digital eLearning resource platform, Merative Learning Academy (MLA). We’ve restructured the course curricula into role-based mini-series to accommodate and enable our clients better than ever before, starting with Merge Hemo™, Merge VNA, and a “What’s New?” course for Merge PACS™.
Today, we're introducing a new way to organize the MLA by product: the “Library.” This new structure will both ease and speed up your access to relevant product trainings. The new Library contains a carefully curated set of training courses organized by role for both Merge Hemo™ and Merge VNA™, and it has an introduction to Merge PACS™ 9.0. Later this month, we will deliver similar role-based content for Merge Universal Viewer™.
Everything you already know and love about our MLA system is still there; you can continue to use the same navigation you're already familiar with to access our online digital content. We hope that with the new Library navigation – and the companion Course Syllabus – navigation will be even easier.
Our theme at this year’s event, "Transform for the future. Transform with confidence," underscores our commitment to supporting imaging organizations innovate at their own pace. Visit one of our booths to see the latest in imaging technology, join our corporate symposium and theater presentations, and celebrate with us at our happy hour on the show floor.
