Hi Merge customers,
We loved having you all join us at our home in Hartland for our User Meeting. Not having to shuffle between hotel rooms and conference halls allowed for more focus, access, and opportunities for less formal, more transparent conversations. It was less pomp and more substance – exactly what we were hoping for. The whiteboard sessions, Q&As, and in-person conversations are invaluable opportunities for you to network and for us to get your immediate feedback.
We all shared some very honest insights into today’s imaging challenges: the physicians struggling to keep backlogs at bay amid staffing shortages, the cybersecurity teams walking us through the many ways to stay vigilant about protecting our data and systems, and the tips offered by many on how to more effectively plan and implement upgrades while managing a wide array of applications. At the same time, we learned more about how you all are leveraging promising tech like the cloud to deliver real impact in your workflows and patient care.
And Wisconsin showed up! We had lovely weather, a fun supper club experience, and a hometown Brewers win. I’m already counting down to next year. And if there’s anything you’d like to keep talking about, please don’t hesitate to reach out, I would love to continue those conversations.
We’re pleased to announce that the latest version of Merge Hemo has received FDA 510(k) clearance. With this update, we have reduced the physical size and footprint of Merge Hemo, and enhanced its data visualization capabilities, so that data is displayed in bigger, brighter, and in more vivid colors. The result: A richer data experience that takes up less real estate at your workstation.
Blanchard Valley Health System saw an opportunity to build a comprehensive imaging strategy that could consolidate their many PACS systems and enterprise imaging archive needs, creating a single source of truth with seamless cross-department communication. Read our new joint imaging strategy paper with BVHS to learn about how they underwent building a holistic imaging strategy; how that strategy optimized clinical workflows and eased user adoption across the enterprise; and how Merge helped to consolidate and centralize their imaging needs.
A modern approach to medical imaging calls for a robust, vendor-neutral foundation. That’s why Merge has partnered with SCC Health to bring the features and benefits of Merge VNA to healthcare organizations across the UK. We will share more about this innovation at the International Imaging Congress, at London Olympia October 7-8, 2024. Don’t miss our VNA session on Monday the 7th; join the AXREM Imaging Learning Lab on the 8th to learn about how Merge supports telemedicine and remote radiology solutions; and meet us at booth #C42. See you there!
