I’m pleased to announce that Merge Cardio and Merge Hemo have again been ranked as Best in KLAS for Cardiology and Hemodynamics! This year’s wins mark the 10th and 13th time, respectively, that our industry-leading cardiology and hemodynamics solutions have been ranked at the top of their categories in KLAS.

At Merge we strive to keep innovating our cardiovascular imaging solutions, not just to meet our users where they are, but to identify what they’ll need in the future. This KLAS recognition reflects our commitment to keep doing that and is exactly why we rolled out our latest product updates – Merge Cardio 12.4 and Merge Hemo 11.1 – to continue affirming why our solutions should remain the top choice for cardiology teams.

I’m also happy to share that a number of other Merge products ranked highly in this year’s crop of Best in KLAS awards, including Merge VNA and Merge Universal Viewer, which both finished in the top 3 for their categories. Read the full report below to see how Merge Cardio and Merge Hemo compared to the rest of the competition this year.

Merge Cardio 12.4: Reflecting the voice of our users

In 2024 we released Merge Cardio 12.4, which featured new intuitive keyboard shortcuts for commonly used functions like navigation, image display, toolbar activation, and screen capture – all helping to reduce the number of clicks for clinicians and improve their overall user experience.

Merge Cardio 12.4 also introduced Cardio Web 2.0, enabling a more flexible remote reading experience for users to read from home. With support for multiple monitors, Cardio Web 2.0 eliminates the need for storing AVIs, giving more storage space back to our users’ workstations.

Finally, Merge Cardio 12.4 includes Analytics by Merge Cardio, featuring Data Mart, which comes with numerous clinical and organizational out-of-the-box dashboards that can be leveraged to provide volumes, patient cohorts, and turn-around times – helping to improve patient care and generate revenue for your practice.

All of these features in Merge Cardio 12.4 were direct responses to feedback we have received from our users, highlighting just how valuable the voice of our customers is to Merge’s development and release process.

Merge Hemo 11.1: A richer experience that takes up less space

Last year, the latest version of Merge Hemo received FDA 510(k) clearance, marking the beginning of a new era for our hemodynamic solution. Now, Hemo 11.1 provides major and much-anticipated upgrades to both the product’s hardware and software, reducing the physical size and footprint of Merge Hemo, while also enhancing users’ data visualization capabilities – allowing data to be displayed in bigger, brighter, and more vivid colors.

Our goal for Merge Hemo 11.1 was to deliver an enhanced user experience, while taking up significantly less room in your already crowded workspace. We’re glad to see with this Best in KLAS recognition that it has resonated with our users as well as we hoped.

Our commitment in 2025

Receiving Best in KLAS recognition year after year is not an honor we take lightly or for granted. It is an expectation from our customers that our solutions must be reliable, robust, and forward-looking.

This year, we will continue innovating, delivering new capabilities, and prioritizing customer feedback in every update. Being Best in KLAS isn’t just about last year’s achievements — it’s about meeting customer expectations for the future, the delivery of technology to address those needs, and seamless training and deployment services. We’ll continue striving to ensure our customers experience excellence with Merge Cardio, Merge Hemo, and our entire imaging solutions portfolio.

Thank you to our customers who give us feedback to help us continuously improve.
