This positioning comes on the heels of another industry recognition from Everest Group this year: Zelta was named a Leader in the group’s 2024 EDC Products PEAK Matrix® Assessment this past September.
Our data and analytics philosophy: Prioritizing options and customizability based on user needs
As an EDC and CDMS solutions provider, this new recognition is gratifying. We have always believed it’s in the best interest of sponsors and CROs to have flexibility within their analytics and reporting solutions for aggregating data across platforms. Part of the Zelta mission is to make this capability as easy, accessible, and flexible as possible, and Everest Group’s recognition validates our success on this front.
But unlike some of the other big names in this space, we don’t believe that EDCs need to be these huge, robust, and frankly overwhelming data and analytics platforms. More isn’t necessarily better; when it comes to clinical data management, honestly “more” quickly becomes “too much.”
That’s why our philosophy is to offer a focused, efficient, and user-centric data analytics and reporting experience within your electronic data capture platform. That means focusing on what’s relevant to you. In other words: prioritizing options and customizability based on our users’ specific needs, pain points, and preferences.
In working with our customers, we’ve learned firsthand just how quickly “many options” can turn into “too many options”, becoming detrimental to both usability and learning curve, and the ability to use data to make critical decisions in real-time. We focus on prioritizing just what our users need, when they need it.
It’s because we understand our users’ needs and pain points so well that we have been able to center our analytics and reporting capabilities around how to address those needs in the most intuitive and efficient ways possible. Zelta preloads and prioritizes data sets and configurations based on known use cases, to minimize distractions and significantly flatten learning curves for users.

All of this underlines Zelta’s overall ethos about creating more enriching, user-friendly data and analytics reporting experiences: providing control and confidence to users by eliminating the often intimidating, overwhelming, and training-intensive experiences that are in the market.
How Zelta addresses industrywide challenges with clinical data integration and flexibility
Our industry is still contending with many longstanding challenges: data integration, a lack of flexibility across therapeutic areas, limited real-time visibility into study updates.
The Zelta platform is designed to address all of these pain points. Zelta’s built-in flexibility is why our platform has been used to manage over 20 therapeutic areas. The market is full of EDC vendors trying to provide data and analytics solutions that never fully meet the need. That’s not what we do. Zelta’s strategy is to be laser focused on driving real value for our users and make it easy to support downstream analysis and reporting needs outside of the core of Zelta.
