Merative and its MarketScan business unit are excited to contribute to the education of the next generation of health researchers by providing access to a version of the MarketScan Research Databases to graduate students. Students performing studies as part of their curriculum are invited to register to the program online, and upon review and qualification, will be given access to data at no charge.

MarketScan is a premium portfolio of data, services, and applications designed to help strengthen, accelerate, and simplify real-world evidence studies. In particular, MarketScan data provide the precision needed to perform rigorous epidemiology, HEOR, and regulatory-grade studies.

The MarketScan Research databases provides de-identified patient-level data that reflect the real world treatment patterns and costs by tracking patients as they move through the healthcare system. Graduate students will have access to claims, encounters, enrollments, and drug data for millions of covered lived in the US working population, including dependents.

Faculty sponsors of dissertation research are also invited to apply on behalf of their students for participation in this program.
