Merge June 2024 newsletter: Introducing Merge Consulting Services
Hi Merge customers,
We’ve heard from you loud and clear about the ongoing staffing challenges you’ve faced. That’s why this month we’re pleased to announce the launch of Merge Consulting Services and its first offering, Staff Augmentation Services.
Here’s how it works: Merge pulls consultants from similar talent pools as regular contracting agencies, but with the twist that Merge consultants are trained specifically to the needs of your environment. That means they’re up to date on everything from Merge products and vision, to having the full breadth of understanding of your active implementations and upgrade projects. These Merge consultants are ready to work within weeks, can convert to full employment, and provide flexibility on their working arrangements – on-site, remote, or hybrid, whatever you need. And they come with a minimum three-month engagement, so that they aren’t in and out in a flash.
Merge Consulting Services Staff Augmentation is our latest offering, but not our last, to ensure we’re meeting whatever unique needs and challenges come up along your enterprise imaging journey. Keep your eyes peeled for more specialized services offerings to help you tackle workflow optimization, AI adoption, and cost containment. In the meantime, you can learn more about Merge Consulting Services below.

Merge named by KLAS as industry-leading cloud vendor for ‘thoughtful approach to cloud’
Throughout this year, our customers have shared positive feedback about Merge with KLAS, leading to Merge Cardio and Merge Hemo being ranked Best in KLAS in their categories earlier this year and spotlighting Merge VNA and Merge Universal Viewer in a report last month. Now this month, KLAS has issued its “Imaging in the Cloud 2024” report, naming Merge as one of the imaging industry’s leading vendors for cloud strategy and readiness, based on feedback from customers like you. Of the customers surveyed by KLAS, 50% said they felt “very confident” in Merge, a feeling that helped boost Merge to 2nd among 14 total vendors in the report.
The report highlighted Merge’s “strong relationships and stable products” and “thoughtful approach to the cloud” as reasons for the “trust and confidence among customers” we’ve nurtured over the years. Thank you to everyone who spoke with KLAS and shared such rewarding feedback that has led to our repeated recognition.

Meet us at SIIM 2024, June 27-29
Are you going to be in National Harbor this week for SIIM? If so, make sure to swing by booth #603-605! We’ll be there June 27-29 and would love a chance for some face-to-face time, for anything from a quick catch-up to a deeper conversation about what you need from Merge as you begin building out your plans for the rest of 2024 and 2025. We’d love to see you. And if you’re there on Friday, June 28, make sure to catch Bill Kazee’s talk in the Innovation Theater at 2pm, “Navigating the path to modern imaging with a modular approach to innovation.”
Merge Imaging Suite updates for VNA, Universal Viewer, and Workflow Orchestrator
Speaking of SIIM – just in time for the event, we are rolling out new versions of Merge VNA, Merge Universal Viewer, and Merge Workflow Orchestrator. With these upgrades, Merge is bringing more functionality, usability, and ease-of-deployment features – all of which were inspired by needs and requests we heard from you directly – to both our Enterprise Imaging offerings and Merge Imaging Suite. When we say we’re committed to being your reliable transformation partner, we’re not just talking the talk; we’re walking the walk. And we hope these quality-of-life updates to Imaging Suite reflect well on our ongoing mission to make sure Merge solutions are keeping up with, and staying ahead of, your needs.
