New Product Release: Merge VNA 14.3
I’m going to turn this next section over to Jeff Hanson, our Product Manager for Merge VNA, to talk about our latest product update: Merge VNA 14.3.
The new Merge VNA 14.3 update now provides the ability to configure Fast Migrations. Several releases ago, we gave you the ability to perform your own migrations; in 14.2, we introduced Fast Migrations to speed up ingestions, by turning off various functions like compression, calculating offsets, and exceptions bin. Now with 14.3, you can configure those yourself via the Merge VNA Web UI.
14.3 also supports the latest Oracle database 19c, placing your database on the latest long-term release. We have also made improvements with Tier 2 and Tier 1 encryption, specifically encrypting during image re-staging.
Working with our Merge Workflow Orchestrator team, we’re also introducing Worklist Federation: the ability to aggregate records from multiple systems and initiate a DICOM Image retrieval from remote systems.
Finally, we have also updated our branding within the Merge VNA system. You’ll see that "IBM Enterprise Archive” (iCEA, EA) how now been replaced with “Merge VNA.” You will also see our Merative logo splashed around the user interface.
