Keynote session: A Collaborative Research Network Brings Hope for Kids with Pediatric Rheumatic Diseases

A small group of physicians created a collaborative research network to help children with rheumatic and related autoimmune diseases. The Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA), which now has 800 members at more than 120 institutions, has built the largest observational, multi-center Registry for pediatric rheumatic disease and two biobanks. Meet a physician who is on the frontlines of caring for kids with these complex conditions, while also leading translational research.
