Dear Merge customers,

As 2024 comes to a close, I look back and feel proud about all of the strides and great work we have accomplished together this year.

  • Best in KLAS certification for Merge Cardio and Merge Hemo – respectively the 9th and 12th time that these products have ranked as leaders in their KLAS categories.
  • Additional KLAS recognition for our cloud strategy, which to date, spans 120M exams stored in the Merge cloud.
  • FDA 510(k) clearance for Merge Hemo 11.0, which brings a much smaller hardware footprint to your workspace.
  • The launch of multiple new product releases – including Merge Cardio 12.4, Merge PACS 9.2, and Merge Workflow Orchestrator 2.2 – all tailored to continue supporting your imaging technology transformation journeys.
  • The refreshed and relaunched Merge Community experience, providing more streamlined workflows and simplified navigation, inspired directly by your feedback.
  • New provider partnerships, like with Summit Radiology.
  • The launch of Merge Consulting Services and its workforce augmentation offering.
  • Our User Meeting in Hartland, WI, with its heavy emphasis on clinicians and clinical needs.
  • And a strong showing at RSNA, including a joint presence with our partners at Microsoft and Dr. Raj Chopra’s compelling presentation of the clinician’s view on cybersecurity.

None of this success would be possible without you – the trust you place in us to deliver solutions that can transform your workflows and help deliver better patient experiences and outcomes. Nor would it be possible without the feedback you provide us, whether at our User Meeting or in one-on-one conversations, that make our imaging solutions and our strategy better able to meet your needs.

Thank you for the great year together. I’m very much looking forward to what we have planned together for 2025.

A clinical view on cybersecurity with Dr. Raj Chopra

This month at RSNA, Merge Chief Medical Officer Dr. Raj Chopra gave a captivating talk about the clinical view on cybersecurity – offering a practicing radiologist’s point of view on why cybersecurity is so important to healthcare delivery, and why it is just as relevant to clinicians as it is to IT. If you missed the session, you’re in luck: Dr. Chopra has published a new article on steps that healthcare providers can take – internally and with the support of outside partners – to boost their security capabilities and the confidence of their clinicians in the event of a cyberattack.
