EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT
PO07614, WorkItem:222031 - Records on the ATTRIBUTEDEVIDENCE table were not created for a product using classic rules
Issue Description:
An issue was identified where the ATTRIBUTEDEVIDENCE table was not written for a product using Classic Rules. Data on the table ATTRIBUTEDEVIDENCE is required by products using Classic Rules only, it is not used by Merative Social Program Management Express Rules. An AttributedEvidence record is used by Classic Rules to indicate the period of applicability for a particular evidence record. Without this record, the evidence may be excluded from eligibility and entitlement calculations, which could impact the eligibility result.
User Interface Impact: No
Steps to Reproduce:
- In Admin, setup an integrated case and product delivery within that integrated case, which will use Classic Rules
- Configure an evidence type for this integrated case, ensure the product delivery case on the integrated case is configured to use this evidence type
- Ensure the evidence type being added allow a case to become eligible when added to the case.
- Register a person and create an integrated case of this type for the person, add evidence to the integrated case and activate
- Create a product delivery case, add a certification and activate product.
- A record should exist on the AttributedEvidence table for this evidence record but it was previously missing
- Check Eligibility of the product.
- Verify the eligibility result is correctly calculated.
Resolution:
This issue has now been resolved. The table ATTRIBUTEDEVIDENCE is correctly updated when evidence is captured on an integrated case, where the product is configured to use Classic Rules.

WorkItem:218928 - File download issues related to curam.display.cached.download.warning property
Issue Description:
When the curam.display.cached.download.warning property is set to 'true' and an external user clicks on a download link, it should display a warning to the user, in the form of a modal dialog, warning them that their download may be cached by their browser.
An issue existed where the modal dialog would not appear and the file download wouldn't occur.
User Interface Impact: No
Steps to Reproduce:
- Login as sysadmin and set curam.display.cached.download.warning application property to 'true'
- Publish the change
- Open CitizenPortal and submit an application
- On the page where you can download the file - the issue was seen on triggering a download

SERVER DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT
WorkItem:218925 - XML server crashes when multi-byte characters are discarded as a result of the offset being discarded
Issue Description:
The XML Server can process both XSL templates and associated XML documents containing data when generating PDF documents.
**User Interface Impact: **No
Resolution:
Previously when a double-byte character was present at the end of an input stream created from these documents, the XML Server was not processing such content correctly. Malformed XML was being created and a corrupt PDF was being generated.
This has now been addressed by ensuring that the XML Server processing recognises these double-byte characters correctly and processes them accordingly. This now ensures that the PDF documents are generated correctly under such circumstances.
TRANSACTION MANAGEMENT
PO07575, WorkItem:217325 - Application throws an exception on server restart when a non-transactional function is invoked
Issue Description:
The application was throwing an exception on server restart when the following criteria were being satisfied:
- JMX Stats was switched on.
- The property 'curam.security.casesensitive' was set to 'false'.
- A non-transaction facade method (i.e. annotation set to "tx=false") was being invoked.
Once this initial exception was thrown under these circumstances, the server JVM was left in a bad state and all subsequent calls failed.
Resolution:
The exception was being thrown due to an attempt to log JMX data when invoking a non-transaction method and that method did not have a database connection created for it. It has been resolved by ensuring that for non-transaction methods, a database connection exists before any further processing is invoked for that method.
